Job Description:
 

The Community Trainer will be responsible for the care and supervision of three clients during program hours. Each client will have individualized goals and objectives that are addressed in their respective ISP and it will be the task of the Community Trainer to complete daily progress notes as required, to ensure proper documentation of each client's progress in meeting objectives.

 
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
Will provide supervision and training to three participants.
Will provide appropriate daily documentation in addressing each client's progress and objectives
May participant in client related meetings (i.e. quarterly and IDT Meetings), with client and support team members to discuss and review progress on objectives
Assist clients with concerns relating to their daily work activities and needs.
Participates in staff training as necessary
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Able to follow a monthly calendar and activity curriculum.
 
Minimum qualifications:
 
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or the equivalent
One (1) year full time experience working with individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities (Preferred).
Must be able to pass fingerprint screening through the Department of Justice (reimburse)
Reliable transportation for three clients, with a current CA driver's license and insurance, and proof of a clean DMV record.
Demonstrates patience and ability to work well with the clients being served
Current CPR and First Aid training required (reimburse)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
