Caring Circuit Institute, (C.C.I.) embraces the philosophy that all working age adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, can and should, have opportunities to work in a competitive integrated setting within their respective communities. Opportunities that afford the abilities to where they can enjoy greater earnings, better benefits, improved health, and an enhanced quality of life. Our mission at C.C.I. is to provide an environment of security, success and self-fulfillment through the sustainability of employment and community integration. These environments are individually designed to meet the needs and wants as described in the participants’ Person-Centered Plan. C.C.I.’s Employment and Development Center will partner with the individual and their circle of support to determine each participant’s unique Person-Centered Plan, which will outline their specific goals, to include but are not limited to: learning appropriate interview skills, job searching techniques, assistance in completing job applications, job shadowing, appropriate interaction training, vocational training through paid internships positions, self-advocacy training, independence and life skills training, enhance community awareness, facilitate access to community resources and a variety of cultures within fully integrated social and recreational opportunities. These individualized services and supports will assist each individual to develop education and/or career goals that match their unique skills, interests and abilities.
